The position is in the Music department, located in the College of Fine Arts on the Main campus in Albuquerque, NM. It is a tenure/tenure-track faculty position.

Research Statement outlining the candidate's current research pursuits, areas of expertise, methodological approaches, geographical areas of interest, and language competency, and presenting a plan for future research activity appropriate to a tenure-track position at an R1 institution. 5. Collaboration, Collegiality, and Service Statement providing evidence of the ability to work collaboratively and collegially, engage in teamwork, and undertake service roles within a multifaceted academic community. This statement should also attest to a demonstrated commitment to cultivating an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities. 6.
