Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) - Inpatient Psych

Description

Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) for our Inpatient Psychiatric Unit at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in San Pedro, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts.

Under supervision of the unit director/manager responsible for the management and staffing of the unit and other duties as assigned. The ANM manages and coordinates the unit, directs and supervises functions and activities, interprets policies/procedures/protocols, standards, and regulations as appropriate. The scope of responsibility spans all aspects of nursing care. The ANM maintains clinical competence and certifications to assist the unit when required. The ANM participates in self-development and planned mentoring in collaboration with director/manager.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from School of Nursing (BSN).
• Registered Nurses employed in this role prior to November 1, 2024 are encouraged to pursue the BSN degree but obtaining the degree will not be a condition of employment.
• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital.
• Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience.
• Leadership experience.
• Shared Governance experience.
