At Mathnasium Learning Centers, we help students in grades 112 understand and love math. Our method-based approach has been changing lives since 2002, and at Mathnasium of Morningside, we bring that mission to life every day with energy, personality, and purpose.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, people-focused Assistant Center Director to help lead our high-energy learning center.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with student assessments and individualized learning plans
• Support enrollment and sales by responding to leads and enrolling students
• Build relationships with families and provide regular progress updates
• Lead and coach instructors during sessions
• Ensure students stay engaged and progressing
• Teach/tutor students in-center or online using the Mathnasium Method
• Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment
• Assist with center operations and administrative tasks

Schedule:

• MondayThursday: 2:30 PM7:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:45 AM1:30 PM
• Fridays and Sundays: Off
• Total: 25 hours per week

Requirements:

• Passion for math and working with students
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Comfortable with: leading and mentoring a team, managing both educational and business responsibilities
• Strong math skills through at least Algebra I
• Proficiency with computers and digital tools
• Willingness to learn and use the Mathnasium Method
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check
• Must complete a math literacy assessment

Compensation: $19.00 per hour
