Minimum Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in accounting or banking environments.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
Demonstrates a professional presence with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Capable of managing stress, setting priorities, and meeting tight deadlines.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communicator with both internal teams and external clients.

Core Responsibilities

Provide daily operational support to the Controller across a range of complex tasks.
Engage regularly with bank leadership, auditors, and third-party vendors.
Participate in specialized and general bank training programs.
Ensure compliance with BSA, AML, and all internal policies and procedures.
Promote and embody the bank's customer-first service culture and organizational values.

Additional Duties

Prepare and review internal and external financial reports, including consolidations, tax entries, and allocations.
Assist with journal entries, calculations, and month-end close processes.
Stay informed on accounting standards and SEC reporting requirements, including new regulatory changes.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
Monitor developments in financial reporting and regulatory landscapes.
Cross-train to provide backup support for key operational functions such as reconciliations and ad-hoc reporting.
Serve as a backup for various administrative and operational responsibilities as needed.
