As a Security Professional - Armed Government Driver in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help discourage unwanted activity, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. You will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related situations, adapting to changing conditions at the government location.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

*Must have (No Exceptions): 

• Active driver's license 
• Valid Florida Security License D License and G License

     and at least ONE of the following:

• U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge); or
• Police/Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate); or
• Associate's Degree (60 College Credits on Official Transcripts)
