$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible full-time and part-time new employees joining UW Medicine

Harborview Medical Center's Emergency Department is looking for highly qualified, Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our level 1 trauma center ED.

Under general administrative supervision of the Assistant Administrator of ARNPs & PA-Cs,

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

but not limited to:

• Providing clinical expertise to patients and their families.

• A resource person for health care providers.

• Participation in research and teaching programs.

• General independence and decision-making responsibility. (Under the general guidance of the attending physicians, chief resident, and department Nurse Manager).

• Guidelines include general policy procedures and practice guidelines established by the department and Harborview Medical Center, as well as appropriate professional and technical manuals.

• Work is performed in the Emergency Department 24 Hour/7 days a week. SCHEDULE:

• 90% Night shift REQUIRMENTS:

• ARNP'S: Have/Obtain a Washington state Register Nurse (or MSL) and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Licenses to practice in the state of Washington.

• PA'S: Have/Obtain a license to practice as a Physician assistant in the state of Washington and

• ARNP's Board Certification by ANCC or AAPP

• PA's Board Certification from NCCAP

• ARNP's Graduated from accredited school of nursing program

• PA's: Graduated form accredited program for Physician Assistant studies.

• ARNP' and PA's Prescriptive authority

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$121,392.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$189,876.00 annual

Other Compensation:

Sign on Bonus $10,000 Night premium - $4.50/hour Weekend premium - $4.00/hour Overtime pay
