Join a team with a great culture of partnership and support between ED staff and hospital administration. We are seeking an emergency medicine (EM) physician to join our team at AdventHealth Apopka, just northwest of downtown Orlando, Florida. This hospital is part of the larger AdventHealth system in metro Orlando and you will have opportunity to pick up extra shifts throughout the system.
About the ED:
- 50,000 annual volume ED
- Great variety of clinical cases
- 40 hours a day of physician coverage
- 30 hours a day of APP coverage
The City of Apopka is located 12 miles northwest of Orlando just minutes away from downtown Orlando, the Orlando International Airport (MCO) and many area attractions. Apopka encompasses an area slightly larger than 24 square miles and is the second largest city in Orange County. With the continuing robust growth in population and local business development and expansion, the Apopka area offers countless business and recreational opportunities for local residents.
