Job Summary and Responsibilities
Franciscan Surgical Associates at St. Michael is seeking a per diem General Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Silverdale Washington. We are a multi-disciplinary General Surgery practice located on the campus of St. Michael Medical Center, a new state of the art hospital with 262 beds.
Core components of this position include:

• First Assist on laparoscopic, robotic and open (bariatrics, general surgery, and other) procedures
• Inpatient hospital rounding and patient management
• Consultations, discharges, managing order, patient history, and surgery prep
• Candidates should have a flexible schedule since some OR cases can run late.

Job Requirements

• Graduate from a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Candidate must have at least two years current surgical experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Licensed in the state of Washington as a P.A or ARNP by the time of employment
• Certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
• Available of occassional weekends
