Accounts Receivable Specialist - Join a Manufacturing Finance Team | Woodstock, CT

A respected manufacturer in the heating & control space (think precision, innovation, and legacy) is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to become a key member of their onsite finance team in Woodstock, CT. This is a direct-hire opportunity where your accuracy, communication skills, and AR expertise will make an immediate impact.
Hours & Pay
Schedule: 1st Shift, weekdays (Monday-Friday)
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
Employment Type: Direct Hire (full-time)
What You'll Do

Generate and distribute customer invoices with accuracy and timeliness
Post and apply payments (checks, ACH, wires, credit cards)
Monitor AR aging and pursue past-due accounts
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing or payments
Maintain and update customer account records, credit terms, and tax documentation
Liaise with customers regarding billing questions and payment status
Assist with monthly close processes and reporting as needed
Collaborate with shipping, sales, and customer service teams to resolve order-to-cash issues

What You Bring to the Table

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent preferred
Minimum 2 years of accounts receivable experience , ideally in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems (experience with Syteline is a plus)
Strong Excel skills and a solid grasp of the order-to-cash process
Excellent attention to detail, organizational ability, and communication skills
Willingness to work on-site 5 days per week at our Woodstock, CT facility
