Accounts Receivable Specialist

We're looking for a motivated and detail-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our client's finance operations in Sandy Springs. This role plays a key part in managing billing processes, tracking incoming payments, and maintaining accurate financial documentation. The right candidate will bring strong communication skills, a solid grasp of accounting tools, and a proactive approach to financial accuracy.
What You'll Do

• Create and send timely, accurate invoices to customers.
  
• Keep accounts receivable records up to date and reconcile aging reports.
  
• Review invoice documentation before processing payments.
  
• Track and apply customer payments to the correct accounts.
  
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between invoices and payments.
  
• Address customer questions related to billing and payment issues.
  
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation.
  
• Work with internal teams to resolve billing concerns.
  
• Generate reports on receivables and payment activity.
  
• Ensure all processes comply with relevant laws and company standards.
  

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  
• 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or similar financial roles.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
  
• Hands-on experience with accounting platforms like QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP.
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
• Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
  
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams.
  

Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems.
  
• Experience working in fast-paced corporate environments.
  
• Understanding of Georgia's financial regulations.
  

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
