Accounts Receivable Associate

The Accounts Receivable Associate, with a particular focus in Commercial Accounts, is a detail-oriented role responsible for managing the company's commercial accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, reconciling customer accounts, and performing other related duties as assigned. Accounts Receivable Associate work closely with the Accounts Receivable Manager and other members of the AR team, as well as the Commercial Accounts Sales Manager and the Store Operations team to support the day-to-day financial operations of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the "Cavender's Culture" and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values
• Create and send invoices to commercial customers
• Track and monitor commercial customer payments
• Follow up on delinquent commercial accounts and initiate collections procedures
• Respond to commercial customer inquiries regarding invoices and account balances
• Reconcile commercial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all commercial accounts receivable transactions
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Strong analytical thinking and research capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to interpret documents
• Ability to understand the meanings of words and effectively respond
• Ability to comprehend complex issues and communicate
• Based in Tyler, TX at our home office; Tyler area residence

Preferred Skills

• 1-2 years of relevant experience
