Accounting Operations Associate

LHH is hiring for an experienced Accounting Specialist ready to work with our client near Coppell, TX. This is a contract to hire opportunity that offers work life balance in a stable work environment! We are focused on recruiting an Accounting Speicalist with 3+ years of accounting payable, job costing, general ledger coding and pay applications. Job functions daily/weekly:

• General ledger and department coding for 250+ invoices
  
• Reconcile consolidated vendor statements
  
• Reconcile vendor statements
  
• Job Costing and process subcontractor invoices
  
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  
• Accounts receivable and payment application
  
• Certified Payroll communication
  

Qualifications:

• Three plus years of AP/ AR processing
  
• Construction Accounting Experience is highly desired
  
• Intermediate Excel including formulas and Pivots
  
• Independent worker and professional demeanor
  
• Stable work history is highly desired
