Accounting Coordinator - Contract | Onsite in Carmel, IN | $20/hr
LHH is currently recruiting for an Accounting Coordinator in Carmel, IN . This is a fully onsite, contract position with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM . Compensation is $20/hour .
As a member of the corporate finance team, the Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for recording financial transactions to support payment activity and ensure the accuracy of the organization's financial records.

As a member of the corporate finance team, the Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for recording financial transactions to support payment activity and ensure the accuracy of the organization's financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record financial transactions and prepare journal entries in accordance with accounting standards
- Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports and spreadsheets
- Initiate cash transactions to support payment processing
- Analyze accounting data to support decision-making
- Recommend process improvements for greater efficiency
- Participate in department projects and other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
- 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
