Are you a numbers enthusiast with a passion for precision and a knack for navigating the fast-paced world of manufacturing? LHH is looking for an Accountant to join a dynamic team in Columbus, OH, where innovation meets industry. This is a contract opportunity that is set to run through at least the end of the year!

What You'll Do:

As an Accountant contractor, you'll support the financial health of a thriving manufacturing operation. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, support cost analysis, and help drive strategic decisions that keep the business moving forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Collaborate with operations to track and report on manufacturing costs
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Provide insights to improve financial efficiency and accuracy

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of accounting experience (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• Manufacturing industry experience (preferred)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (bonus points for SAP or Oracle)
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills
