2nd Shift CNC Machinist

Schedule: Full-time

Pay Range: $25$40 per hour, based on experience

Location: Climate-controlled machine shop within a larger technology company

Job Overview

We're looking for a skilled CNC Machinist with experience in multi-axis lathes and Haas mills. This role involves machine setup, part inspection, and minor program editing, supporting both short and long production runs.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate multi-axis lathes and Haas mills
• Set up machines with proper tooling and perform tool changes
• Inspect parts using dial micrometers, digital calipers, and height gauges
• Make minor program edits directly on machines
• Handle production runs ranging from 810 parts to multi-day batches
• Complete 23 machine setups per week
• Use iPads for documentation and quality inspection
• Work primarily with aluminum and steel materials

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of recent experience with CNC mills or lathes
• Proficient in machine setup and tooling
• Skilled in part inspection using micrometers and calipers
• Familiarity with blueprint reading

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
